Northcote Stoneware Glazes 500ml Jade (Opaque Satin) 1280°C -1300°C

Brush-on Stoneware glazes, ready to use. Mix of Opaque gloss/Satin/Matte finish. Firing range 1280ºC – 1300ºC.

Glazes cannot be combined (stirred together) with any assurance that the resulting mixture will be (1) a proper glaze and (2) the colour you thought you would create. Each glaze is a different chemical formula and blending does not necessarily work.

Product and technical information: 

• Stir thoroughly before use
• Apply 3-4 coats of glaze using a soft brush
• 2 Coats is sufficient for a clear glaze
• Allow glaze to dry in between coats
• Fire glaze to recommended temperature – Stoneware firing range 1280oC to 1300oC
• Test all product to ensure suitability for your requirements as glaze application, clay type, firing atmosphere and glaze flow can vary greatly.

Please note: Northcote Jade and Shino Style stoneware glaze can be unpredictable with finish results, depending on how thick or thin you apply the glaze and how many layers are applied.
