An invisible coating for artwork to provide a permanent barrier to dirt, tarnish, wear, stains, moisture and salt spray with a gloss finish. Protects and waterproofs drawings, layouts, artwork transfer lettering, graphic prints, books and photographs and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Can be used to add a gloss finish to unfired ceramics, oil and acrylic paints, antiquing, straw and dried flowers, art tissue, decals, papier-mâché and decoupage. Not suitable for use on watercolour paintings. Fast drying and won’t yellow with age.
Its is recommended you test spray on a sample before you begin. Make sure the surface is clean and dry (for oil paintings, this could be as long as 6-9 months), then shake the can well and hold 20-25cm from the surface at a 45º or 90º angle and spray side-to-side, overspraying at each side. Then turn the work around and spray the opposite way to ensure adequate coverage
